Your class is trying to help Santa find some Christmas magic so his sleigh can take off. Currently, Santa’s sleigh won’t fly. If he can’t get it to fly, then he won’t be able to deliver gifts and Christmas will be ruined. Can your students visit countries around the world and gather Christmas magic to save the day? As students complete each puzzle and read each passage, they are to color the coordinating Christmas magic item that they find. This is a fun game where students work together and review key reading standards.
Students will review finding the main idea and details in a reading passage. There are reading passages for each country students visit on their journey. With each passage, they will find the main idea and at least one detail. There are twelve countries the students will visit, and twelve reading passages total. Mixed with the reading passages are also fun puzzles and clues to help the students find Christmas magic to save Christmas.
The countries students will visit in this escape room are:
