This is a fun and engaging escape game that is perfect for the month of November and during the Thanksgiving season! Provided in both a printable and digital format, you are sure to have a version that works best for your students. The digital version is played on Google Slides. Your class is trying to help a trapped turkey escape the farm before Thanksgiving! His feathers are also missing and must be found. Can they solve all the puzzles and escape before Thanksgiving? As students complete each puzzle, they are to color the coordinating turkey feather they find. This is a fun game where students work together and review key math standards.
Students will review multiplication. They will practice basic math facts, multiplying a
1-digit number by up to a 4-digit number, and multiplying a two-digit number by a two-digit number.
When the turkeys feathers are all found, they will be just about finished with the game. The last thing students will do is find the congratulations page to escape. The page is hidden near the classroom door.
Escape rooms are a great way to get students working together, solving problems, practicing skills, and having fun. This Thanksgiving breakout game leads students through different puzzles to help them review key standards from the Common Core. This game is most engaging when played in groups, however, it can be played individually as well. The set up for the printable version is quick and takes just a few moments.
