This is a great activity to do for the first week of school. My sample is printed out on all white paper, and then colored with colored pencils and crayons. However, consider using colored paper or other coloring material to change it up! These books can be reviewed in class, read in small groups, left on display for parents and students to read, sent home for students to read to their parents, or read and graded individually by you. However you choose to have students present them, these books are sure to be a hit. This is a keepsake students will keep for years to come.
