Students must solve a string of math problems and clues to escape their captors or save a catastrophe from occurring. From Pirates to monsters, and from saving a zoo or circus, your students are sure to be engaged with all the fun themes. Your class will hardly realize they are doing math!

 

Each game focuses on one math domain:

  • Operations and Algebraic Thinking (Stuck on Mars)
  • Numbers and Operations in Base Ten (Save the Zoo)
  • Numbers and Operations-Fractions (Escape the Monsters)
  • Measurement and Data (Stuck in Prehistoric Times)
  • Geometry (Save the Circus)

*The last game is a review and has questions from all the domains. (Escape the Pirates)

 

Each game comes with written instructions, as well as pictures. Also, you will have the option to print the game in color, or black and white. Everything needed to play is provided, however, teachers will need to supply their own envelopes.

 

*Games come with the option to use QR codes, or not. Both versions are available.

  • If sharing with students, a Drive account that is linked to student Google accounts
  • Can be shared/delivered on Google Classroom
  • Only need access to Goggle Drive–no outside links to worry about!

This escape room can be used with iPads, chrome books, laptops, and desktops as long as your students have access to Google Drive or Classroom on a device. The escape room is on a Google Form. Students must answer the questions correctly to advance to the next section, and eventually escape.
